LRHS Community & School Service Information
At LRHS, we believe giving back is an important part of being a Bronco! Students will complete 50 hours of community and/or school service during their high school years. These hours can be completed by volunteering with school organizations or community groups, and we strongly encourage students to support non-profit organizations whenever possible. Students may also volunteer for businesses, but they cannot be paid for those hours. Volunteer activities may take place during the school day if parents pre-excuse the absence with the school secretary.

- Hours volunteering for a fundraiser for FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, Athletic Programs, and other school sponsored organizations do count only if the fundraiser is providing a SERVICE, not a product.
- Attending meetings does not count for service hours
- Service that is conducted as a form of disciplinary action does not count as service hours.
For this to count in your High School and Beyond Plan, you must have all worksheets complete and turned into your counselor. Keep a copy for your records.
